I’m Mairi (aka Wee Flecky) and I photograph wee Scottish weddings and elopements on the West Coast of Scotland and the Scottish Islands.

My secret power is being able to capture shots without you even noticing me.

Last year I travelled on 19 ferries, 2 small boats, a rubber dinghy, and an 8 seater plane to get to weddings, and I've photographed ceremonies on beaches, mountains, tiny islands & a lighthouse. I've had the company of puffins, and dolphins, and been a witness for many of my couples. I’m also always happy to bundle you into my car and take you to somewhere special for photos after the ceremony.(I love a bit of glitter and confetti on the back seat). My fix it kit that goes everywhere with me has supplied sewing kit, sun screen, Smidge (midge repellent) and protein snacks to flagging guests. I really will always go the extra mile for you.

My style is always relaxed and informal, capturing real photos for real people. No filters, no AI speed culling or batch processing for me.
